Some hours run high, some run low, and every tide turns. Here are small, kind ways to meet each one, alongside the care you already have.
High watergo gently
Low waterrest and enjoy
Your body is doing its best. So are you.

Technique 01 · attention
Find the calm shores.
Pain can fill the whole map. Gently look for places that feel fine: a fingertip, an earlobe, the soles of your feet. Rest your attention there.

Technique 02 · curiosity
Draw the edges.
Instead of bracing, get curious, like a mapmaker. Where does the feeling begin and end? Is it warm or cool, still or moving? Many people find it softens once it has a shape.

Technique 03 · routine
Pace with the tide.
Rest before you need it, not after. Break tasks into small sets with pauses between, and keep a little energy in the harbour for later.
09:00Do a little: one drawer, one email.
09:20Pause. Sit, stretch softly, sip water.
09:30Do a little more, if it feels right.
LaterKeep some energy in reserve.

Technique 04 · words
Talk to it kindly.
Speak to the sore place the way you would to a tired friend. Quietly, or in a notebook. Kind words help the whole body soften.
I hear you. We'll go slowly.
Thank you for carrying me.
Rest is allowed today.
